GUIDELINES FOR MANAGING ALLERGIES AND TMJ PAIN

1) Eliminate the following from your diet:

a) milk & milk products

b) red meat

c) caffeine

d) wheat gluten (breads, cereals, pasta)

e) artificial sweeteners

f) 6ranges, grapefruit and orange & grapefruit juices

g) sugar (refined) --candy, cakes, cookies, etc.

h) fats (saturated)

i) rancid oils & rancid nuts

2) Eat only organically grown fruits & vegetables

3) You may have free range chicken & deep sea fish

4) Increase the use of olive oil, flax seed oil

5) Eat rice, rice cereal, rice cakes

6) Drink or use rice milk

7) Eat raw vegetables & fruit

8) Avoid eating out

9) Avoid tobacco smoke & tobacco products

10) Buy a room air cleaner

11) Avoid artificial food coloring (especially yellow & blue)

12) Avoid food preservatives
